My (Un)Lucky Experience

I'm back here, yet, I'm not in mood for editing this blog -.-

Maybe today just sharing something I have on my head. I want to share my unlucky experience last week. It wasn't that bad, but still bad enough for me. Yeah, well I will start to write now.

I have been in a Japanese Language course since 3 or 4 months ago. It's not a course, but like a private course or tutoring session. The tutor or teacher is my senior in my senior high school. We have been friends like, umm... 7 or 8 years because we were in same extracurricular in senior high school. Okay, It's not about her (my senpai or senior) I will talk about, but I will talk about my bad luck related that tutoring sessions. No, not about she tutored me badly, she tutored me well and I understand enough what she explained to me, even we studied a far away (note: we studied by phone or whatsap or line if our WA has bad connection .__.), and I thank her so much because I can understand little by little Japanese language (Thanks, Kaichou! :")). Uh, sorry, I will start the true story now, I swear.

What I want to share is about last week when I would transferred the month payment for her. I had told her I would transferred payment that day (Wednesday, yeah I remember what the day is). And she told me that I could transferred by mini-market 'A-mart' (I will sensor this mini-market :p). Lucky, I thought, because that mini-market's just 3 minutes long from my house. So, as my promise I went to 'A-mart' and cashier didn't have customer, lucky again because I didn't have to wait any longer to transfer. but the cashier, the guy-who-has-not-friendly-look, just said "Sorry, our connection here is busy." Okay, not lucky I thought, so I asked again where the connection would be available again is. And He (with his not friendly look again) answered He didn't know. Well, I thanked him (Sarcastically in my head, for his not giving a solution for me or for his annoying look uh -__-), and I crossed the street while thinking what I would do next. I checked my wallet, because I had plan to go to another A-mart. Actually, I regretted I just brought a cash no more than cash for payment and some cash just enough for one round-trip. But if I came back home, I was afraid If the rain fell (It was so cloudy even on afternoon). So I decided to go there by public transportation.

I arrived and paid the driver, but this was source of my unlucky moment again. The driver said "Maaf neng, uang kembaliannya ga ada." or "I'm sorry, miss. I don't have a change." The driver looked at me and gave his confused face. It was when I paused for long enough. "What?" I said stupidly, and hoped my ears mistook his words. He repeated what he said, and I (stupidly again) said "That's okay, you can have the change.". I was in dilemma to decide what I should do later to go home. The change was Rp. 1000,-. If I protested to him (driver), I would be bad because it was nothing matter because Rp. 1000,- is cheap (But it's so important to me! *cry*). People were on public transportation (Or 'angkot', we indonesian people call it) maybe would think that I was stingy for asking the unavailable cheap change. So I left the change for the driver, and cried internally ;__;. The driver thanked me (at least, he was friendlier than that cashier guy :v) and drove away, leaving me to think what to do next. Well, I had arrived in front of A-mart, so of course back to my purpose. The cashier guy (He was serious guy but not unfriendly guy :v) asked me if I needed something because I just stood in front of the cashier and said nothing (I still thought the moment with the driver, you know D':). I realized from my internal thought and answered him if I could transfer some payment there. He said to wait and went to his friend who stood not so far from us. I heard something like "I think it's offline now." and reply like "Uh, I will check it.". Then, 2 minutes later, the one who asked me before, came again talking to me. He said the same statement as the not-so-friendly cashier guy before. I sighed and thanked him. Forgotten my annoying thought about that unavailable service twice, I checked my wallet, maybe there was miracle money(?) hiding there. Unfortunately, I just got Rp. 500,- :'( I had Rp. 8000,- for the round-trip I planned before, then I paid the driver Rp. 4000,- but the driver didn't have the change from my Rp. 5000,- so it left me Rp. 3000,- and lastly, I got Rp. 500,- extra from my wallet. For more detail :
Rp. 8000 - Rp. 5000 = Rp. 3000 + Rp. 500 = Rp. 3500.
I must to pay Rp. 4000/public transportation in my city.
I had checked my wallet but nothing there other than my Rp. 3500. Stupid me to leave my money at home :'(. God, I just wanted to have at least Rp. 500,-. No other choice than I went home by walking. I surrendered my destiny and looked down whilst hoping there was some money fallen in the street TvT. The sky was more cloudy than before and I didn't bring umbrella. If it was rain, it would be worse than my condition that time. While walking and walking sadly, no money fell in the street :(, I found another A-mart, without any doubt I came inside and prayed at least I could transfer there. The cashier lady greeted me (She was friendlier than 2 cashier guys before lol), and I asked the same thing to her. She smiled to me and I had feeling it could be worked there. Unfortunately, my hope was crushed by her explanation. The same excuse like the others -___-. But she added, the transfer service could be accessed about a hour later. "Did you mean, I must wait here, buy nothing, and just standing stupidly like a welcome statue?" I asked, internally of course. Because I didn't want her to know what my wallet condition was. I thanked her and gave up. I would go home and sleep. Well, after I arrived at my home by walking again :'((.

Walking and walking and searching fallen money in the street :') so I didn't have to walking to go home... I was too focus for looking down that I fell on puddles of water. Damn. My life couldn't be better. or Worse. Fortunately, it just dirtied my pants, my clothes was safe, and the most important, there was nobody looking hahahaha *bitter laugh*. Maybe God just wanted to test my patience :'). So, my journey continued again, to my home.

Finally, I found some money! Rp. 500,- extra! But I didn't know what feeling I had, I was happy but sad too. Because that extra cash I found, was in front of my gate house. And damn, I walked for 34 minutes long~ what an exercise :')
Then, I got inside my home after I took that Rp. 500,- cash. Cheap, but so fatal if we didn't have them, however cheap is :')

So, what we can learn from that unlucky experience? Yes, I advise you to have much more extra cash in your wallet. Because you won't know what will be happen to you in the journey (wherever you go, near or far) without extra money. I can't ride or drive, I go wherever by public transportation, I have my mobile but who can I depend on/call? My mom can't ride or drive too, my father's always working he's busy every time, my friend? They have their anything-important-work.
And be careful wherever you're walking, don't just look down (I don't usually do that, it just because I hope to find fallen money lol), notice your surrounding, and focus wherever you go, because this time have been so many kinds of robberies, hypnotics, and some other bad people. And save as cheap as anything money you have, because 1000 can't be Rp/dollar/yen/etc 1000,- if you don't have Rp/dollar/yen 1,-.

Last, thank you if there's someone read this long post. I just want to share my experience, no offend for anyone (or the cashier guy who I think not friendly lol), it's just for fun, even it was not fun to me. But it give me some thinking to learn from past experience. Experience is the best teacher for you, right? XD

See you on the next post~~
